NO, there is not...with a caveat... Music files are often recorded as a whole bunch of individual tracks, then mixed down to two separate tracks: Left and right, for stereo separation. The vast majority have the vocal in both tracks, so there would be no way to separate it out, once they are "mixed down" to stereo. One very improbable technique might be to use EQ adjustments to eliminate ALL the frequencies with the voice in it, but that mostly leaves you with very low bass and very high treble, since the human voice covers a wide range of frequencies across the "spectrum" of pitches we're able to hear.

Once a normal WAV standard CD-quality music file is compressed down to Mp3, further information is lost, making it sound flatter, and you're usually losing those two extremes, high and low, that I mentioned above, leaving it even harder to separate out the human voice. Now, if the vocals were on ONLY one side...just turn the balance knob to the other side! This was not that unusual in the 60's and 70's when stereo was new, and they e.g. The Beatles experimented with some really WIDE stereo separation.

However, if the lead vocal is on one side, there are usually back-up vocals or a featured instrumental in the other track. One usually ends up with what sounds like a half-finished recording! Ever been in a workplace where the stereo speakers are placed far apart, and listened to the Beatles?

It can be a strange experience to hear only Paul & not John, for example... If I'm not mistaken, Mp3 compression also tends to decrease the stereo separaton, as well... Sources: Common knowledge, and experience with amatuer recording .

I am afraid no.... MP3 is a proprietary format and users do not have the privileges to alter it, however you could try to convert it to wave and use some audio editor to try and separate the music from the vocals. I have never attempted it so not sure if it would work out. Nonetheless, my answer to your question is still no .

2 If you are looking for instrumental versions of popular songs, there are lots of sites where you can download karaoke songs.

Are there any vista compatible mp3 players.

Difference between mp3 players and mp4 players.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
