Most have composite outlets. Connect the cable box to the combo with those and to the TV with coax.Jpg.

Yes, it does have the composite outputs (and thanks for the picture because I wouldn't have been sure what the composite outputs were without the picture. Yes, I am pathetic, I know. ) I will give it a try and let you know how it turns out.

You have entered the new millenia TV zone where VCR recorders are passe. You need to upgrade to a DVR.

You can record TV you are watching on the new VCR's or record from a video camera or other input source but you can't record TV shows like in the good ol' days. VCRs have become just "VCR Players. " .

Yes I know VCRs are "passe" I have a DVD recorder/VCR combo in addition to a DVD player/vcr so I have moved forward a step or 2 from plain old VCRs but I don't want to pay every month for dvr service if I can just record for free on a DVD or tape plus I record some things that I want to keep permanently and also I like to have an actual DVD or tape that I can take with me and watch where ever I want to so that's why I keep using the old fashion method. Man, I hear you there! You could just buy a DVR yourself and not go the rental/service route. That's what I would do if I could afford a DVR.

I think you can record to a DVD although is just not the same as the VCRs. Ah, the good old days... (big sigh) .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
