Is there any difference between the mapviewer.ear file that comes with Oracle Application Server, and the one downloadable from OTN?

In terms of functionality, there is no difference. However, the packaging is different. The mapviewer.

Ear file that comes with a full installation of Oracle Application Server (located under the $ORACLE_HOME/lbs directory) is smaller than the one you download from OTN. The difference is sdovis. Jar, which is not packaged inside the former, but is included with the latter.
