S area seems to be flooded with ignorrance. It's frustrating when you do have a valid question and it is not addressed due to 'them'!
There is a lot of drivel, along with irrelevant, poorly worded, questions, statements where the authors expects us to be mind readers, gibberish questions written in text speak and other forms abreviation; and ambiguity where the reader expected to know what subject the author is referring to.
I answered an ambiguous question recently, the author asked about 'umbrella terms' so I answered using the terms required to refer to the use and mechanics of umbrellas. Apparently this was wrong, the questioner asked about 'umbrella terms' obviously I was thinking of different terminology than the questioner. I wonder what 'umbrella terms' are?
:-).
It's not the issue of clicking on a question it's how many of these spam type questions smother the front page and the decent questions get lost.
I dunno, a lot of this stuff seems like one Google away from being answered. Look, we all know why we ask and answer questions: to be involved in the community, and maybe spark some interesting conversations.
Others may view the Answers area as a Spam receptacle, thinking that it will drive visitors to their Hubs, and money to their Adsense accounts. Got a problem with somebody's question? Don't click on it.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
