A quote from the book of Jude: 7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire 8 In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings. 9 But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”d 10 Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them 11 Woe to them!
They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error; they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion 12 These people are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead.13 They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever 14 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones 15 to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”e 16 These people are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.
Jesus took the sins of all who will repent be baptized by the proper authority and endure to the end on him in the Garden of Gethsemane He completed the sacrifice when he did on the cross. And he over come death for us all when he rose the third day.
That is not what he said. Matt 12.7 If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent.
Stop preaching about stuff you can't prove to be true. I gave up believing in childish wish-fulfillment fantasies a long time ago.
Quantum, no one loses eternal life, we are all here for progression and to learn from our mistakes.
It will never be time for me to become delusional and pretend that ancient fairy tales are actually reality.
I won't lose it because it was never there to be had.
I think he was drunk... I never asked "him" to do that... maybe he lost a bet.
Because I don't talk to the voices in your head.
Jesus told Nicodemus that he must "be born of the water and the Spirit" to enter God's kingdom (John 3:3-5). In the Christ's commission to "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation. Whoever believes AND is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
" In Peter's sermon in Acts 2 he convicts those there of crucifying the Lord Jesus Christ (v. 14-36). Because of this they were "cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, 'Brothers, what shall we do?
"(v. 37). Here we see that they believe, but was that all they needed to do?
"And Peter said to them, 'Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. " (v.38). Those that received the word were baptized and were added to the church (v.
41, 47), which is the body of the saved (Eph.1:20-22; 5:22-23; cf. 1 Cor.12:13).
