Jobs for high school dropouts?

Yeah at least get high school finished. Even with just a high school diploma you won't get very far unless you know the right people to get you into a good job or start dealing drugs. Even then, if something goes wrong you'll have nothing to drop back on and can be royally screwed.

If you're really sick of high school, you can probably get a GED through a community college and then continue schooling through them for an associates degree. My one friend did this and ended up with an associate's degree one year earlier than she would have if she completed high school normally, not to mention she got a bunch of financial aid and was able to get two years of college out of the way pretty much for free. Just make sure you're serious about going to school because once you stop going it's hard to get back into it again and without AT LEAST a GED you're not looking at a fun future whatsoever.

The short answer to your question is "No" or "very few that won't get you arrested". It's possible to drop out of high school and enroll in a community college. However, (and this is a large however), the community college would require you to have completed the requirements for a GED or a high school diploma BEFORE they would allow you to graduate.

If you were to drop out of high school, how exactly would that prepare you to succeed in community college where the subject matter is more complex and requires more effort? Dropping out of high school WILL pretty much guarantee that you have severely limited your chances of attaining a happy and successful future. Ask around, or simply stop and look to see how many people are working more than one part time job (50 - 60 hrs weekly) in order to simply survive nowadays.

I'm fairly sure that's not their idea of a good time. I strongly suggest that you think long and hard about the consequences of such a decision. Researchers for the study analyzed the U.S. Census Bureau American Community Surveys.

The report goes on to note: "Americans without a high school diploma have considerably lower earning power and job opportunities in today's workforce. Over a working lifetime from ages 18-64, high school dropouts are estimated to earn $400,000 less than those that graduated from high school. For males, the lifetime earnings loss is nearly $485,000 and exceeds $500,000 in many large states.

Due to their lower lifetime earnings and other sources of market incomes, dropouts will contribute far less in federal, state and local taxes than they will receive in cash benefits, in-kind transfers and correctional costs. Over their lifetimes, this will impose a net fiscal burden on the rest of society.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
