Jquery tmpl not rendering variables?

&^%! Figured it out, this is a grails/gsp page and they use ${} for their variable notation, which means they were trying to parse the ${} variable before the javascript could and return a value, so in the html the ${Name} variable is being rendered as.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
