JQuery -use hide/show to toggle content so that some displays when javascript is enabled and other content when its *disabled*?

I edited my answer to include more code. – pythonscript Aug 8 at 17:59 I tested your exact code, and it doesn't work. Is there anything else I can try?

– pythonscript Aug 8 at 18:20 what does "don't work" mean? – genesis Aug 8 at 18:41 The Generate button shows all the time (whether or not javascript is enabled or disabled) and the Generate_js button never shows. – pythonscript Aug 8 at 18:43.

You can also use the element, which will only display when no scripting language is detected, in all of the current browsers that would be javascript.

I know about the noscript element, but that doesn't help me to display different content when it's enabled. Also, the noscript element can cause problems for XHTML 1.0 Strict, which I'm using exclusively. – pythonscript Aug 8 at 18:01.

The problem was caused by an unrelated error in my web host's system; they were experiencing packet loss on the majority of packets that went through, and in all that mess, the JQuery library that I uploaded hadn't made it through. My original code is working again.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
