Buy a book, join us and read Corduroy with a child in your life on October 2, 2008! One of the best things about reading is that it can take place anywhere and everywhere. Group reading events will be held at schools, libraries, various retail stores, Hyatt hotels, playgrounds, offices, and homes.
Reading for the record is not limited to large events, however, as any child and adult can participate just by sitting down to read. Read Corduroy on October 2, 2008, and be a part of a nationwide movement engaging children and adults in the shared learning experiences all children need to be successful in school and in life. SPECIFIC ENGAGEMENT OPPORTUNITIES: Anyone can participate in Jumpstart’s Read for the Record.
