KVM Related: The mouse pointer runs over the monitor screen, opens several windows, and starts applications when I move my mouse. How is this possible?

Most of the KVM-switches are designed for common 2 button mice and are not able to function with wheel mice and trackbals. This is caused by the fact that wheel mice and trackbals use a different data protocol. Please ask about this when you order a KVM switch.

Using Windows 2000 or XP might cause problems because the standard wheel detection is enabled. Disable this feature when your KVM switch can’t handle wheel mice. More.
