Looking back on history, would you have rather lived in a communistic run country or a capitalistically run country?

Similar questions: back history lived communistic run country capitalistically.

Well... Well, there is no such thing as a "capitalist run" country. The USA comes close, as big business has a huge influence on government, but in theory it's a govt by the people for the people, yadda yadda. About the closest thing are the fascist and crypto-fascist countries-- your South Koreas, Singapore, and Japan.

Places where the govt makes no excuses about being in bed with big business. The Communist-run countries have all been huge disasters, economically and otherwise. Neither kind is very agreeable to most people.

If I had to choose, maybe Japan.

1 If you really look back on story this question is no brainer. There can only be one correct choice and I am sure you know which one it is Rock.

2 Three cheers for the 'Borg Collective'. I could get behind that but I don't like the little eye telescopes they all have to wear. Other than the Borg Collective, there really isn't any example of true communism or Socialism.

3 Yeah, the idea or theory of communism is a good idea at it's corebut I don't think there has ever really been a communist society that functioned along the exact line of what it really should be. The leaders in communists countries elevate themselves above their people which in essence creates a class system...the communism is designed to defeat...So in essence...I would prefer to live in Capitalism...

4 I am happy and proud that I have lived my life in a "Capitalist Society"...I grew up poor, and would likely have remained so in a "Communist Society"...Just for the record it is a given that there has been no "True" communist orsocialist states, certainly not for any real length of time anyway... But, "True"was not a condition of the Question...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
