Looking find a long range rifle to match my weapon set "sniper rifle"?

Yes, I do know what an assault weapon really is. Any object that is used to assault another is consider an assault weapon. There is no such thing as what the liberal gun control bigots call an 'Assault Weapon" per say, it is only a semi-automatic rifle.

These liberal gun control bigots coined the term "Assault Weapon" to make a firearm sound evil so they could get the backing of the very stupid to get their backing for their unconstitutional gun control agenda. Not even the military call any firearm an assault weapon, true the military have assault vehicles, but not assault firearms, only the liberal gun control bigots call a semi-automatic firearm an assault weapon. Come on gun owners do talk the liberal gun control bigots talk, you allow them to win talking their talk.

What the liberal gun control bigots call a assault weapon is only a firearm that looks like a tactical weapon. What the liberal gun control bigots call a handgun is only a pistol. And what these liberal gun control bigots call a clip is really only a magazine let stop helping these idiots, and call these firearms what they really are not what the liberal gun control bigots want us to all them.

Mr. Wolf. No I nor anyone else is saying that gun store dealers that call AR15s assault weapons don't know what they are talking about, what I am saying is that they are helping the liberal gun control bigots by using the liberal gun control bigots terms for tactical looking style weapons. You are going to have to prove your false claim that manufactures call their firearms assault weapons, if there is any truth to your lie you should have any trouble proving you are correct that firearm manufactures call the firearms they sell are assault weapons.

Can't do that? Now why doesn't that surprise me in the least? No where did the Rock River Arms AR 15 ad say assault weapon, unless you are stupid enough to believe that the AR stands for assault rifle.

The AR stands for ArmaLite Rifle 15, the designer of this rifle. Consider your education for today complete!

I'm not sure you've got that quite right. The fully-automatic, multiple "mode" weapons are ASSAULT RIFLES - with manual, automatic and "burst" mode. The semi-automatic replicas of assault rifles, for the civilian market, are ASSAULT WEAPONS The term "assault weapon" was coined as an attempt to describe the AR-15 and its ilk in order to ban and control them without having to ban and control all SEMI-AUTOMATIC weapons.

There's a deal of contention around this, because the previous definition included superficial details like pistol grip to separate "assault weapon" from "semi-automatic" weapon - which in the end made it not very useful. One of the main aims next time round should be to come up with a better set of rules for defining "assault weapon". "Assault rifles" have been banned from the civilian market since 1986.

EDIT: @skaloc62: RE: "I believe that guns that can be converted to fully automatic would be considered "assault". " I'm not a gun expert as it happens (just a googler) but that seems like a reasonable place to start for a better definition of the nebulous "assault weapon" to me...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
