Looking for a good coffee maker with built in grinder. Please help?

Looking for a good coffee maker with built in grinder. Please help? It seems that all the machines I've looked at online have mixed reviews.Is there a machine out there that is programmable, makes a good strong coffee, uses a thermal carafe and is under $300?

I can't recommend a combo coffee maker and bean grinder I have had two combination grinder/makers and neither of them did a good job with the grinding. Both the Cuisine Art and Krups grinders used a chopping blade rather than bur grinder wheels. Burr grinding wheels deliver consistent, uniform grinding but the blade types will powder some beans and leave others too large.

I now use a separate bur grinder and am happy with the resulting uniform grind. I prefer my coffee ground to a medium fine consistency and the blades just can’t deliver. For my money buying a good bur grinder and the type of coffee maker you want is the better course.

I checked out Amazon and they do not offer a bur grinder that I could recommend. I use the Capresso Infinity Grinder its available on the web for around $90 so that would leave you $200 to purchase a “good” coffee maker that meets your needs. You can get different types of flavors, etc. Look at the new Francis Francis, it's getting rave reviews.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
