Major differences between Abrahamic religions and Hinduism?

I have the equivalent of a minor in comparative religion and the history of religion. I hold a very holistic viewpoint. So the books I will mention approach religion obliquely, but in way which may lead to greater fundamental understanding.

Man and His Symbols (illustrated colored edition) is essentially a psychology book, but it is heavily influenced by religious ideas and also expands upon them. Mircea Eliade is often considered to be a founder of the discipline of comparative religion. I suggest looking at his books in the library or on amazon.com and choosing one or more which interest you.

Joseph Campbell expanded upon and popularized the ideas of these two authors. His The Masks of God: Creative Mythology and his The Masks of God: Occidental Mythology are good summaries of his approach.

Do you realize that there are hundreds of other modern world religions out there than the 3 abrahamic ones...... I know jews christians and muslims live like the entire world revolves around them.. I mean just do some simple research man....

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
