Me and my girlfriend broke up after 15 months. We are at the same college now as we recently broke up The story is that we broke up because I had become controlling. We are at school together and are best friends still.

We hang out quiet a bit and get along great. We still hug and stuff. The problem is that she got a new boyfriend the week after we broke up.

She says me and him are the exact same except for the fact that he is older and I am in better shape than he. And he is in his home town so it is long distance. I still care about her and want to be with her but don't know what to do.

She needs to make up her mind between you 2 - she'd be kinda slutty to lead you on like this and stay with her bf. If I were you, I'd tell her she needs to choose. Her bf may end up getting upset if he finds out that she still talks to you, hangs out with you and hugs you.

Yea, this is WHY "hanging out" with someone you still have feelings for is NOT a good plan. She obviously does NOT feel like you do, so don't even go there. Put some distance between you two until you get your head back on straight.
