In the first instance, I would not advise making any decisions in haste - especially if you're safe at home with your mum. From what you've said, it appears that the same cannot be said if you were to move back in with your dad.

If your mum is serious about throwing you out of the house, and you're in a position where you have nowhere to sleep, contact the police. In the UK (and USA), the state must help minors (under 18-year-old) with food and shelter. But please remember, avoid making decisions in haste or anger and whatever you do, don't put yourself in danger.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
