Mexicans are you aware California and the Southwest technically never belonged to Mexico?

At the time the Spaniards and then the Mexican Government thought California was a worthless desert as there were no more than 300,000 people living in California, Nevada, Arizona, part of New Mexico and Colorado which was California pre 1848. There was no San Joaquin Valley, no Hollywood, No real Los Angeles, No NASA, no Las Vegas, No Hoover Dam, No Silicon Valley. Mexico has Tijuana and Mexicali and doesn't have a NASA or Silicon Valley and wouldn't with their corrupt political system an bad Universities where a 20 year old can be a Dentist coming out of their High School/College.

I know a kid who came here illegally because he couldn't make it as a Dentist in Mexico because those that came to the US to become Dentists and then later open up offices in Mexican border towns essentially putting Mexican Dentists like this kid out of business. Nice kid though!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
