This could be any number of things and it depends whether it's a dull pain or a sharp pain. Lower back pain can sometimes be from external sources such as heavy lifting or bending down a lot or it could be kidney pain. Do you drink much alcohol?

Best bet is if it goes on for much longer is to get a doc to check you out. Best to be safe than sorry.
