Minor Paw Injury?

Many thanks for your response, will certainly try the creams and lotion and hadn't thought of vit E.

My BC cut his pads on carpet tacks...some nasty slices. We did as suggested below...peroxide and triple antibiotic. At night after doing that I put a sock on and used duct tape to secure it (just over the sock, not touching his fur).

It was the only way he would leave it on a couple of hours...long enough to let the ointment do its job for awhile. I did that for about 4-5 days and the pads eventually healed.

It's safe to clean minor paw injuries with hydrogen peroxide and apply a triple antibiotic ointment like Neosporin. Won't hurt if he licks it off as long as he's not doing it too often. Another trick would be to put a sock on that foot after applying the ointment so it can do it's job, just don't keep the sock on for long periods of time.

Good luck!

The boots would help but you can also get paw creams to help after hes done training, also useing a vit. E inriched lotion with out color or sent to it would help.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
