Moderate Republicans...does is irritate you that the Religious Right became the face of your party?

I am a business owner and if Federal tax was the only thing we paid there would be no complaint. I was just served notice that the unemployment insurance I am mandated to pay for each employee will be increased from the current 2.8% to 13.2% effective January 1st. This is because of the shortage in available unemployment funds.

This increase is supposed to be temporary, but have you ever heard of a fee being reversed in the government. That money comes out of my pocket, not the employees. This will be the final nail in the coffin of many businesses and will cause even more unemployment.

The American dream is alive and well. I am working hard to put my kids through college. One of them has already graduated and is making $60,000 a year.

The other two are talking about graduate school. THey have no student loans and got zero help form the government. Anyone with ambition and a positive attitude can succeed.

We are not talking about our grandchildren having to pay off your debt. We can't keep this level of spending up that long. We are looking at our own children and young adults getting stuck with the bill.

If you are in your 20's or 30's it will be you.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
