Diffrent answers for each artist Let's start with Dottie West. Michele Lee (who is still hot after all these years) owns the right ot this film so Shw sells the video on her website. The problem is I'm not sure what region or format it is in?

A quick email could fix that. micheleleeonline.com/tv_film/big_dreams.... Wynette's movie "Stand by Your Man" has not been released yet or it is out of print. On the movie's message board there are many posts from people looking for the film so I would bookmark that page and keep an eye on it.

imdb.com/title/tt0083121/Now about Patsy Cline I have great news the movie "Swet Dreams" is available on Amazon in both DVD and VHS and tey have alot of copies of it. http://www.amazon.com/Sweet-Dreams-Jessica-Lange/dp/0783114907/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1195491059&sr=1-1 Sources: diffrent answers for each artist .

Yes, you can find all three! I have the DVD of the "Sweet Dreams" Patsy Cline movie (1985, Jessica Lange and Ed Harris), although it's a little disappointing because there aren't any special features except the trailers. Still, I love the movie.

The 1995 Michele Lee movie "Big Dreams & Broken Hearts," the Dottie West story, is out on video tape, although I couldn't find a DVD release date for it. Wikipedia also says that it was one of CBS's highest-rated made-for-TV movies ever. "Stand by Your Man," the Tammy Wynette biopic starring Annette O'Toole from 1981, is apparently out on DVD because I found some references to it.

I remember seeing the movie on TV (another CBS made-for-TV movie), when it first came out. By coincidence I went to see George Jones in concert at Billy Bob's in Ft. Worth not long after that, and remember I kept watching him for signs of misbehavior--like falling of the stage!

These plus "Coal Miner's Daughter," the Sissy Spacek movie about Loretta Lynn, were all great movies. I've always been fascinated by the fact that female country music stars, or at least these four, all keep living recognizable "normal" kinds of lives even after they really make it big, and female rock stars don't seem to have the same experience. Wonder if staying "country" by definition keeps you a little more grounded in real life?Hmmmmm.

Maybe it's just a bootlog?.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
