I think that every religion has been made up by man and I don't need to read a holy book to tell me that. A lot of religion has laws that conflict with morals. I also know that the books are all stories they are mythologies and people don't belive in myths but they will belive in the religious stories.
The question shouldnt be why I don't belive but why you do? I have opened my mind to try and understand all relgions but religious people don't open their to understand why we don't blieve. Religion is a form of control its all do this and that or this will happen.
There is no true religion because everyone is different and nobody has the same beliefs. The core religious belifes are the same- belief in god therefore all religions are the same so there is no true religion I heard a horrible story recently about a muslim community that has been killing women for petty reasons. I cant belive in any religion that appears to persecute woman.
Christianity is not perfect either. If there was no religion maybe they'd be no war belvie what you want I can repect that but don't expect others to belive what you do. I think people should stop belving what they are told to be society and religion and start thinking for themsleves maybe this world would be a better place.
Or maybe people might stop hiding behind religion and start actually blaming themselves. Religion just gives another difference which sets up all apart. I don't say muslims are bad, I just say that ive heard some bad things and that makes me think bad about a religion.
Maybe we need ot hear more good or maybe people should stop trying to convert everyone and let everyone be. I prefer to think for myself I was brought up a christian buti don't agree with it.
Well, I have several reasons. In no particular order, they are: The core basis of Islam (that of submission; the basic relationship is that of the master-slave). I find the science in the Qur'an to be fairly typical of the time and place.
I find the attempts to ram scientific concepts into it to be shallow and unconvincing. That Islam promotes true monotheism is one thing I like about it, and one of the things that first made me interested. Polytheism just doesn't really make much sense to me.
I find almost all of the stories of the Qur'an to be either nonsensical originals or poor rip-offs, and almost all repeated ad nauseum throughout the text. There are many other reasons. Those are just the few you mentioned in your question.
I can't watch the video.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
