I don't wonder you think we are all insane. It's not all of us, but the very loud and vocal, narrow minded and hateful pseudo-Christians do seem to be making the rest of us look very un-Christ-like indeed. There are a lot of fundamentalists and fringe cults (SDA; Watchtower, etc.) posting on this forum and very few "mainstream" Christians.

Misogynistic a$$hats passing this atrocious law (and other similar laws) are fascists. They are not following the teachings of Christ (loving, non-judgmental, compassionate, etc.) at all. God gave each and every human being FREE WILL (including women).

Any person, no matter their motivation, who tries to suppress the free will of anyone else is committing a terrible evil. These people are so busy poking at the speck in other eyes, that they ignore the boulder in their own. Shame on them all.

For example, when the adulteress was about to be stoned, Christ not only stopped them from doing so, but did not condemn her Himself. He asked her to "sin no more." I only laugh when the haters tell me I'm not a "true Christian" because anyone trying to punish someone else or condemning someone else, etc. They are the ones who have ignored the gospel of love and forgiveness.

Even from the cross, Christ looked down and forgave the people who had been tormenting Him. THIS is what Christ taught "Love God and Love one another". If it's not about love, it's not about Christ.

THAT's how you tell us apart! Gandhi: "I like your Christ, but I do not like you Christians. You are so unlike your Christ" -- sad but true.

These are self-professed, "fringe" Christians. Again you are judging the entire church of millions around the world by the actions or opinion of a few. Prejudiced?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
