My Blackberry Bold keeps dropping on and off my home wifi network even though I'm right next to the access point--why?

The bold, like most Blackberries suffer from memory leak issues and if it gets too low the wifi gets flaky. Try rebooting your unit and see if that helps.

I can confirm that same happened to me with Bold 9000 and 9700 with different wifi access points. I guess it's Blackberry's issue.

There could also be a conflict with other wireless networks and devices in the area. You may try switching the channel of the router, setting the router to 802.11b or 802.11g only, or moving the access point to a higher and more open area that is away from other devices (wireless phones, wireless game controllers, wireless speakers, wireless headphones, etc.). GOOD LUCK!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
