Get get stressed when something changes, and pooping on teh floor is how they show nervousness stress, or anger. WHAT CHANGED?!?!? Did you move the litter box?
Change food brand? Get another pet? Someone leave the home or die?
Did someone scold or hit the cat? Did someone change their daily schedule, like Dad work's nights now? Try to figure out what changed, and change it back to "normal".
