Sounds like overheating issues, which could be a result of dust or bad airflow of components. If you have extra available fan mounts buy some fans and mount them. Top and back blowing outtake/bottom and front blowing intake.
Get a can of compressed air and clean the inside of your PC from dust as well. Try to mount your PC on a desk and not on carpet to prevent further dust build up. To monitor temperatures go into your BIOS and it will show your CPU temps.
If not a temperature issue, replug the power cord into the wall and stop kicking it.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
