My ex son-in-law tells my 2yr. Old granddaughter that her mother killed her baby sister dead! Help.

She believes him! He left my daughter last yr, a high school teacher, after having sex with his students and being thrown out of the district. It was a nasty divorce, and my daughter whose heart was ripped in pieces was pregnant early on, and did not have the baby.

She has custody, and is trying so hard to make a nice life for her and her little girl, but this creep upon supervised visitation with his mother, feeds her terrible things and my granddaughter repeats all of them to us. What can my daughter legally do to prevent this mind poisoning from continuing? He is mentally abusing your Grandaughter! I am sorry this is happening to this poor baby. I went through a custody battle.

The judge ordered us to go to what they call"Kids In The Middle". It teaches you that when you talk bad about another parent it will make that child resent the one who is talking bad. Your Daughter should ask the judge to do a social study.

The person who does the social study will see for them selves what he is doing. Then he will only be able to have supervised visits. He is using his Daughter to get at your Daughter.

I live in Texas and it is legal to video tape the other party or tape record the other party. As long as one person knows it's being recorded. This person was me.

I recorded everything. You need to get a tape recorder and anytime he calls have it on tape. Also you should have a video camera.

When your Granddaughter comes home from her Fathers house have it running without your Granddaughter knowing. When she gets in say. Honey did you have fun.

Don't ask questions like so what all did your Daddy say to you. Let her be the one to offer the information. It really sounds like her Father does not Love her the way he should to talk about her mother that way.

After we went to kids in the middle,we did not want to put our Son through this. He did not ask for any of this. He just wants to be loved.

They said that your child is part of both of you so when your talking bad about one parent you are talking about part of your child. Also for whatever reason you liked this person enough to have a child with m/Her so it couldn't have been all bad. Your Daughter really needs to do something quick.

He is hurting your Granddaughter. Ask for a social study to be done. They said and don't try to tell your child what to say because we will find out.

When they talk to your Granddaughter she will end up saying what her Father is saying to her and he will have to have supervised visitation. Try your best to have the video tape running when she gets home from her dads. This way you can show the judge.

Either way, her ex is being extremely cruel.

2 That's horrible, what he's doing. Would it be grounds for the visitation to end? Could someone else supervise the visitation, someone who would not allow him to say such things?

Has she talked to her lawyer? You'd think that his actions would be considered a form of abuse. I have a friend who is divorced and whose son sees the father every other weekend.

He was arrested (not the first time), and told the little boy that the mom had him put in jail. I don't understand how some people can be so cruel, using their own child to cause another person pain.

I think a lawyer could make a good case to block visitation. Unfortunately your grandchild is much to young to explain the situation to her and lend her mother your support. If she were my grandchild, I'd try to play a major role in her life so that she grows up understanding and respecting the rights of women.

He's the pervert and if your daughter made a personal decision based on free choice, she's supported by the law. She has to report this to her attorney and it has to be brought up in court. He's using your granddaughter as a weapon and his behaviors are so questionable he might literally be a risk to your granddaughter herself.

Also if he had sex with a minor, she could also complain to child services that she is fearful he will abuse their daughter and wants him to get an eval, and for supervised custody/visits, and he lawyer could take that to the judge as well.

Well it will depend on the state. But she could go talk to child services as his actions are borderline child mental abuse. And are by defination slander and she might want to contact a lawyer.
