My family loves to play the board game "Monopoly. " Anyone know if a version is on the way for the Xbox 360? I know the original Xbox had a version -- but I am talking about the Xbox 360.

Anyone know if there is a version on the way for the Xbox 360? It seems a no-brainer to me that a version for Xbox Live (Xbox Arcade) would be a huge success. For that matter, "Risk" and other board games would also be a smash.

Just wondering if:1. You've any news on this front2. If not, whether these games would be of interest.

Nope no news at all I have yet to read anything announced about it at IGN or GameSpot. I personally would love for it to come to xbox LIVE arcade I would be playing it loads. Sources: IGN & Gamespot .

IGN Monopoly is a great family game. Alas, it doesn't appear to be coming out for the Xbox 360. You can do a search here and see what games are coming out for that system.

Not at the moment As you mentioned there was a fairly unsucessful version for the Xbox so we will only see one on Live if we get one. It seems like would be a natural fit with online, although the pacing is a little slow. Two board games I love have come to Live and I highly recommend them.

Settlers of Catan(I think they jsut call it Catan) and Carcassone. They are german tile based board games of strategy and territory domination. So if you are a fan of Risk I suggest you try it.

I don't know for sure but you are right theyd be interesting esp if you are an only kid you could play games like life monopoly and risk and others thru xbox live with other people all over. I do know that there are certain xbox games you can play with your xbox360 but some of them you have to be able to get online and get patches for the games and some you don't and I really don't know which is which.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
