It could be a flea, an ear infection, a life threatening foxtail (grass awn) or someth8ng else. You need to see a vet about it. The leg twitching could be the dog trying to or wanting to scratch a spot it either can't reach or knows will HURT if it does scratch (maybe the ear).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
