Your wife could be having a carpal tunnel syndrome. This usually happens when the ligaments in the wrist are inflamed due to repetitive use that can strain the tendons and ligament of the wrist. If there is any redness, pain, heat, then it is possible that there is an inflammation and the tingling can be be due to the median nerve(nerve that innervate the fingers) to be trapped or compressed in the wrist and can therefore cause tingling sensation.
It would be best for her to consult a physician so that he can perform test to diagnose the condition properly. I am pretty sure the nerves are involved because of the tingling and numbness that she felt.
Your wife should definitely get to a doctor. In all likelihood the issue is nothing serious. I have had similar issues in my hands because of cycling.
There are a lot of nerves in the hand that can become entrapped - which could cause both tingling and numbness. The pain in the wrist indicates to me that the issue is probably with the ulnar nerve. But get to the doctor to make sure.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
