None of my siblings, nor I, brought kids into the world; why do some people act perplexed by that?

It sure is great to know I'm not the only "crazy" person in the world! Please pardon my reference. I also made a conscious decision not to bring any children into this world (I knew at age 14) and I'm glad I made that choice.

When I was in my early 30's, I was diagnosed with a mental illness. It is hereditary, so I am so happy I made that decision. I have no desire to "continue" on anybody's family name.

I couldn't care less. Yet, I've been in the same boat - lots of people think I'm insane for NOT wanting to continue on the family name. I just didn't want to bring a child into this world because it is such a complete disaster!

Every generation gets worse and worse and worse. It's now at such a serious condition that I am afraid my preteen nieces will not have a good quality of life at all. If they last that long... Thank you for your question!

It's good to know I'm not alone. More.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
