I can... 1.) WWI knocked down the Medieval Ottoman empire (1918). 2.) As a result all new Arab nation states were made from Arabic tribes not ready for nationhood. 3.) In 1948 the world decided to assign a small sliver of the Mideast to the Jewish people for a recreated Homeland and state of Israel.....Arabic people went nutzo over 'Jews' having 10% of the Mideast, causing countless wars/ Palestinian conflict.

4.) Year 2000-2015 the US 'Iraq War' (2003-2012), the 'Arab Spring' (2011-2013) has split the Arabic Muslim Mideast countries to pieces, with Arab Muslim terrorists, Muslim religious factions, ethnic factions, terrorists and jihadists, rival tribes, rival religious Muslim groups all fighting each other creating today's...Mideast chaos....now a threat to the whole world through it spilling over to other world regions.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
