NSMutableArray addObject not affecting count?

If it is nil, giftees count will return 0 as well.

Because you most probably never initialized the giftees array at all, so it is still nil when that code runs.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
