They don't care. The Poorest went from paying 15 to 10%. THe rich went from paying 39.5 to 35%.
They will ignore reality and use their media to keep the people stupid.
There are many more middle class and poor people than there are wealthy people. The wealthiest Americans have benefited disproportionately from the Bush tax cuts. If you are going to criticize liberals then at least pay accurate attention to what liberals are actually saying.
The middle class is struggling. If you’re arguing for more taxes on the middle class you can just forget about that. Since the deficit is of such urgent concern to conservatives you should concentrate on urging conservatives to help address it through reversing the tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans.
Edit: There most definitely was a surplus for each of four straight years – 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001. A surplus is defined as when the government takes in more money than it spends. That happened in each of those years.
Don’t lie. The debt held by the public declined in each of those years. You’re relying on figures that include intra-governmental debt and that leads you to the wrong conclusion about the decline in the debt.
Worry less about liberals and more about the actual issues.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
