Old Star Trek vs. New Star Trek?

Loved both. The original was when I was a teen, and the ST TNG was on when my kids were small. I like it the best, better sets, better photography.

Have all the DVD's and watch them whenever I have time alone in my craft room--that or I Love Lucy, or Buffy the Vampire Slayer--how's that for diverse tastes?

Well, my favourite was Star Trek: the Next Generation. I haven't seen the latest Star Trek movie.

Star Trek TNG works for me. But you also forgot to mention Star Trek DS9.

I HATE both with a passion..my husband is a TRECKIE and watches it whenever its on TV and has all the episodes on video or DVD ....I think it should be BANNED!

I like the newer ones more. It's kind of painful to watch the older Star Trek.

Sorry to say I find the new Star Trek to be nothing more than a mad cash grab. I'll take the originals any day. I loved TNG and I also liked DS9/Voyager to a degree.

I liked TNG but my favorite was DS9. I guess the order would be DS9, TNG, Enterprise, Voyager, and TOS. I guess TOS is last because the technology is outdated.

I definitely loved the new movie. It may rate #1 above all.

Captian Jean - Luc Picard both command the USS Enterprise. The 1st Star Trek was made in 1960's in Black and White..........hmmmm. I like both Star Trek.

My absolute favorite are the movies that were developed that joined the old and the new treks together. If I had to choose I would have to go with the original.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
