Once again, there is no legal requirement in UK to study Law in order to call yourself a Solicitor.?

It is clear from https://www.gov.uk/change-name-deed-poll... that you can use the official forms provided the parents agree. You do need to make a statutory declaration before a solicitor, but as this involves them just witnessing a one-page form, this will be a small flat fee - certainly much less than employing them to do the whole thing. If the parents won't agree, then you can only do this by court order.

I would strongly suggest not having anything to do with courts without a solicitor - they know how courts work much better than you do.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
