OPEN THREAD: Will Victoria Beckham be a better ''American Idol'' judge than Paula Abdul?

I'm sorry to say, probably yes. Victoria's much more likely to be snarky, and bring a little more heat to the show. Plus she's eye candy for the men (although god knows I have no idea why - two plastic coconuts taped to a skeleton just doesn't seem sexy to me...), and she's a marvel for women.

Not only does she have the...ahem...musical experience (wow, did I really just lend the Spice Girls legitimacy? ), and she's edgy and trendy. She's the "spice" this show's been needing.

They need someone who can really argue back with Simon. Plus, she's an A-Lister! The first one to have a regular judging role on the show!

That's sure to draw more of a crowd! Poor Paula was no sex symbol, wasn't intriguing, and was starting to get sloppy and embarrassing.

.

No chance! I adore paula, she has such a stage personality, and such elegance, not that posh lacks in the elegant department, but paula is so beautiful and sincere, difficult to compete!

Meh... she'll be on the Shopping Channel hawking some new line of jewelry or perfume soon enough. She'll be outspoken enough... youtube.com/watch?v=KuErVaVN7g4 Just like the Fonz on water skis, I think that we'll look back and think that this is the season Idol finally jumped the shark.

Anyone will be better than Paula! Ok, maybe not anyone, but I never liked Paula. It takes her forever to get her point across, always stammering, half the time not even making any sense.

Then she almost never says anything critical about the contestants. Being nice is ok, as to not hurt anyone's feelings. But in all honesty, that won't help a person improve.

People need constructive criticism. If someone is too thin skinned to accept the criticism, then he or she is in the wrong business. Singers/musicians/artists are criticized all the time.

Basically, Paula is always just too nice. I'm glad she won't be back. As for Victoria, to be honest, I never heard of her, but she can't be worse.

Anyone.....I repeat....ANYONE would make a better judge than Paula Abdul. I would make a better judge and they could have me for 1/10 of 1% of what they're paying her.

I kinda like Paula Abdul, I never really watched the show and now I have less of a reason to. Although I did like the remark about "two plastic coconuts taped to a skeleton just doesn't seem sexy to me" from, gno. Shes not unattractive shes just not all that special.

I think that she will be better than paula abdul because if we see how she managed her life and how she became a successful women and choices that she made I can conclude that she have a good judgment on the others also family live made human been more mature and responsable and that can help her to judge the others capabilities. That's my poor point of view.

I think anyone would be a better judge than Paula. She just really annoys me. However, I am not sure how Posh will do in this type of venue.

I haven't heard her speak much either, but judging from this interview, she seems to be very well-spoken. I am not sure about her musical expertise, even though she was in Spice Girls. It will be interesting to see how she does!

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question. I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
