Opinions on 10th admendent with health care?

1 First, this is not "Obama's health care". I am not trying to start an argument, but if you actually want a serious discussion, we need to deal with fact. Congress has to pass the bill.

This isn't a plan that Obama thought up and is forcing us to accept. Next, I would like to ask for some clarification. What exactly, are you saying - that passing a national health care plan violates the tenth admentment?

And, just for fun - Economists have found that rising health care costs correlate with significant drops in health insurance coverage, and national surveys also show that the primary reason people are uninsured is due to the high and escalating cost of health insurance coverage. A recent study found that 62 percent of all bankruptcies filed in 2007 were linked to medical expenses. Of those who filed for bankruptcy, nearly 80 percent had health insurance.

According to another published article, about 1.5 million families lose their homes to foreclosure every year due to unaffordable medical costs. nchc.org/facts/cost.shtmlAre the current health care bills the way to go? I don't know.

I do know, however, that the ripple effects of the high cost of medical bills are far reaching - way beyond people just not being able to afford to go to the doctor. What I do not understand is why so many people are so dead set against legal citizens of this country having affordable health coverage. When did not caring about anyone but yourself become the way we do things in this country?

2 Sorry heres more clairfication. Forcing people to pay for health care invokes hte 10th admendent. I am not against health care.

I think everyone deserves health care that is fair and reasonable. But why rush? Why not wait find a plan that makes sense?

I know not everyone is going to be happy, but a plan that everyone understands at least? .

3 Not just Obama but a lot of politicians on both sides of the aisle fro a long time have looked at the constitution as something to get around. All transfer payments violate the 10th admendment. Next time you vote for someone ask if he/she even knows what the constitution is (they may have went to the public school system).

If they know what it is, have they read it? If they read it do they understand it? If they understand it do they believe in it?

If they believe in it will they uphold it? Obama sure isn't upholding it.

4 Forceing people to pay for health care invokes the 10th. I am not against health care, I just want a plan that everyone can understand.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
