PHP mail() on localhost with Comcast's SMTP Server not working?

Apparently it does or it wouldn't be saying that :). To do authentication, you will need to use a library like PHPMailer, SwiftMailer, or Zend_Mail.

Oh, ok. So with one of those libraries would I still use Comcast's SMTP server? – Nathan Dec 31 '11 at 5:21 1 You could. It would likely be a violation of the Comcast ToS (not sure), but you definitely could.

Otherwise, you could either setup your own mail server (a bit of a pain to do the first time with not only the actual daemon, but also the MX records and whatnot) or use one whose ToS does allow things like this (once again: not sure if Comcast does or not). – Corbin Dec 31 '11 at 5:25 Ok, thanks for your suggestions. – Nathan Dec 31 '11 at 22:09.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
