Problems while connecting laptop to tv via HDMI cable?

If you have selected the HDMI input into which you've connected the laptop, you definitely should not be hearing audio from another source. That is quite odd and if you've accurately described it, suggests a switching problem inside your TV. Here's what should happen: laptops generally don't supply sound on the HDMI connector.

On some of them you can option that via the Control Panel, but not all. When you can't, the usual fix is to connect an adapter between the 3.5 mm headphone jack (example below) and the red/white RCA jacks that you'll find next to one of the HDMI inputs on the TV. Use that connection for your video cable, select it with the TV's remote, and it should work.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
