Punk rock or devil worshipper?

News media has stereo typed the punk rock and even more so the metal fan as devil worshipers,... the use of christian and pegan symbols by bands like megadeath in the begining started it,... the symbolism fed into the end-times paranioa of the 70's televangelists,.. its a look that musicians have embraced ever since,... musicians understand the artistic statement,... televangelsts only understand the tool of fear,... and so it goesthe metal scene in northern europe realy does have a nitch for devil worshipers and an anti-church movement, but thats the exception not the rule,....most rock and metal artists had religious back grounds, and continue to be deeply faithfull throughout life,... its art,... its a statement,... its outside of the norm,.... oh hell,... its rock and roll,.. like lemmy sayspeople as a whole think metal heads and rockers are demonic because,.. well,... to be blunt,... they believe everythig they are feed by yellow media,... and well,.. once more being blunt,... theyre stupid narow minded sheep.

Stclairjack, These people are so steriotypical... just because other bands used it doent mean were all like that! I totally agree with you on the narrow minded sheep thing.

Some gothic people worship false gods and the devil, but I know some who worship God and are christians. Just like all christians are different so are gothics. Gothic is not a religion.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
