I doubt they actually had much to do with each other after Diana moved out of Clarence House during the engagement and into Buckingham Palace. Moreover, I don't think there's ever been any proof at all that the QM wanted Charles and Diana to marry and somehow pushed the engagement. On the contrary, she was very close to Diana's maternal grandmother, Lady Fermoy, who, we now know, did not actually have a high opinion of her granddaughter.
The notion that the QM and Lady Fermoy somehow conspired to get Charles married to Diana is also unproven and frankly unlikely, given that Lady Fermoy later bluntly said that she thought Diana was unsuited to marry into the royal family. In any case, the QM always seemed to me to be relatively uninterested in people who were not either of some use or entertaining to her, so I rather imagine she thought Diana very problematic but basically ignored her.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
