Rails 3.1 - moving data from local data processing server to heroku production server?

I think Heroku is great if your app is simple or you can make do with the plugins that they have. But when it gets complex I think it may be too complicated.

I think Heroku is great if your app is simple or you can make do with the plugins that they have. But when it gets complex I think it may be too complicated. Heroku makes it clear that you cannot access their databases from outside.

What you can do however is (if you want to stay on Heroku) is to use another database (like the RDS or roll your own) and have your application connect to it. Then upload data to that database directly.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
