Ramadan: Who is ready for ramadan?

First of all, welcome to Islam, sister. :) Well, you can brush your teeth before imsaak. I always do that.

And about wudhu, you need to spit out the water. Even after you spit out all the water properly, you still feel some wetness in your mouth. But that wetness will not break your fast according to Ahnaf and Shawafi'.

Don't swallow even a small amount of water INTENTIONLY. It will break your fast.

Welcome to the way of truth. Why on the 1st day of ramadan and not now? How do you know you would become a muslim on the first day of ramadan?

What if you die before that? Thats why we say 'inshaaAllah"...if Allah wills, you'll become a muslim soon, its better to be soon than later during ramadan, obviously muslims are fasting, so no intake of food or water during that time period. When you make wudu you are supposed to rinse the water off of your mouth anyways.

We brush our teeth before the time for fasting starts... btw, have a look at this, Tony Blairs sister in law converts to Islam, shares her own story https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIRYrgg9...

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
