RE: Preorders on Amazon and free super saver shipping. I ordered 3 things on Amazon today. 2 are in stock and 1 is a preorder on a book.

Despite the fact that there are 2 "items in stock and ready to be shipped", it appears they will hold the entire order until the preordered book ultimately becomes available?!? Is that right? Or will they carve out the 2 items and send them now?

2 Yes, free shipping was selected. And then once I completed the order it said scheduled to ship in May. It would be only minorly annoying except part of the order contained a book that I was buying for my dad.
