Republicans have been laying off Public Sector Workers for 4 years. Why are they suddenly upset about layoffs?

If a private sector employer hires an employee they are paid based on the benefit that they can provide to that employer's bottom line. Employing private sector workers for the most part is a neutral. Yes government worker they pay taxes, but employing them costs money and doesn't add to the government's bottom line.

They provide a service and the majority hard hard-working, but the need for government unions has passed. Unions have turned into legal collusion, artificially driving up the cost of employing their workers. It sucks, but it has to be done.

It won't help. Americans need to remember the video of John Boehner saying: "if this looses jobs, then so be it." If that doesn't speak to where the Republicans are on jobs, nothing does.

To Harry Balz: How about cutting out the war spending instead of the "entitlements" that keep poor and elderly Americans alive?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
