Republicans voted to raise the debt ceiling 7 times during the Bush admin; without demand for a single cut?

Bush held office for 8 years, Obama barely 3 and he is outspending Bush. He is not leading by example - especially as he campaigned on undoing anything the Bush administration did. I know hypocrisy when I see it.

The main problem is people spend more time blaming one party or the other. As long as we do that WE cannot put pressure on OUR representatives to stop pointing the finger and do something about the mess they have gotten us in. They talk about not wanting to raise taxes on those who can create jobs.

They are creating jobs but not here. These are the same people that vote to raise their pay while voting down raising unemployment checks. The same ones that stoke the fires for the common people to bicker over party to keep them from seeing the big picture.

We need to push for getting out of other countries and get back home to rebuild here and not there. Just imagine if the troops were home they could patrol our borders better than some of the rent a cops doing it now. There would be some mass savings.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
