Rock & Pop: What are your favorite bands/musicians from California?

I'm from Des Moines originally, and I'm not going to say Slipknot since I don't listen to metal (and haven't for like eleven years, although I admittedly listened to them from about the ages of 11-14). Anyway, I don't know if it counts since he's no longer Iowa based, but I'd say James D. Stark.

I believe he's based in the Northwest now (I want to say Portland), but had been from the Des Moines area.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
