Seagate FreeAgent Desk or Western Digital MyBook (same price, 1TB)? Caring about reliability and noise?

The difference between these two devices is negligible.. looking at reliability and noise they really are the same.

Using a quick search on the the drive above and the term problem, I found these results: 2,440,000 for seagate freeagent 12,300,000 for western digital mybook This confirms what I have been hearing about the two devices. Many in the technical field have recommended avoiding the MyBook Product, stating a variety of problems. My recommendation is to go with the Seagate Device.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
