Seniors, real mayo or Miracle Whip?

Ahh, I love responding to questions about miracles :) You see, a miracle, is just a matter of perspective...all of life is viewed by each of us, from our own personal perspective. As humans, we observe, through our senses, the world. We do this by sight, sound, taste, smell, touch.

This is sensory data being fed back to our INNER being. We evaluate and interpret this sensory data and the mind tries to make sense out of it. Over a period of time, think of each day, each moment, as a moment which SENSITIZES our intellect.

Each interval of time is equal to an instance of sensitization by the environment upon our inner being. And so, over a period of time, our mind becomes acclimated to what we consider is "normal." Normal, is that experience that you have in life which tells you that everything is "OK."

This is the same thing as your mind telling you that there is a "lack of fear" in your experience. For what happens to your inner self, when you experience fear? Fear happens, when what your sensory feedback is telling you, does not meet the sensitized conditions of your perception of what is "normal."

Any time you experience the unknown, you feel as though, what is happening is not "normal." And that leads to the perception that miracles are para-normal - that is, they do not meet your definition of normal. So what I am saying is, that the REACTION to sensory feedback for non-normal conditions produces FEAR because what is happening is ab-normal or not-normal or outside the realm of normal experience.

When a miracle happens, you do not understand HOW it happened and this leads to a fear-based perception of the environment. But now that you understand what I have just explained, let's step back a second in the discussion. I said that it is all a matter of perception.

But what if, I ask you - if you change your perception of the sensory feedback to meet a NEW definition of "normal," what would that do to your senses if you encountered what you would have considered "paranormal", before? The answer is, that since "normal" to you is what you have chosen to perceive, if you choose to perceive differently, your definition of normal will change and that means that what once was paranormal may now just become NORMAL. And so, I am going to say to you, that miracles are real but they are not atypical - they are not the exceptions in life but the rule in life.

All you have to do is change your definition of what normal is, to see this is right! If you choose to, you can see all of life as being a "miracle." And since all of life becomes a miracle it just becomes your normal experience in life.

THIS is HOW I see LIFE! I see all of LIFE itself, as a miracle...life itself, is sacred and precious, holy, created by God. And nothing that God creates is unholy, not precious or is profane.

Everything God creates is SACRED. And this means that all of life itself is a miracle. Each moment in your life is a miracle.

You live! You breath! You are intelligent!

You are conscious! And the biggest miracle is, that you know so little about yourself (as most of us do)...do you really know your full potentials in life? And when you use them, isn't that a miracle?

When you create or build something, you are doing it because God gave that ability to you. Isn't that a miracle? When a doctor heals a patient, isn't that a miracle?

When a teacher teaches a student to read and write, isn't that a miracle? When a baby is born, isn't that a miracle? What is there in your life, that if you look at it from this perspective, is NOT a miracle?

In order to know that miracles ARE real, you must BE THE MIRACLE you wish to BE in the world!

Miracles are a manifestation of the bell shaped curve. For a large enough sampling of a given event--for example--a hundred babies falling out of a second story window. In that sampling figure 3 will die, some 97 of them will suffer various broken bones and internal injuries--and one perhaps two will have no injury at all.

Because you don't see the other 98 or 99 --you call it a miracle. It isn't--just simple statistics.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
